Review on Upgrade Your Furniture With Homdiy'S 25-Pack Of Modern Black T-Knobs by Daniel Greene

They look nice, if you can get them installed

As MANY others have mentioned, I wouldn't even order these without a 4mm tap and a 4mm hex wrench. The second pull I installed needed to be tapped, so I just started tapping every one beforehand from then on to save time. The threaded inserts needed to be tightened on EVERY pull I had. If you don't tighten them with a hex wrench they shift back and forth a few degrees without much torque and it is very annoying. The pulls need to be installed quite tightly to prevent spinning on the cabinet. The problem with all this is it is VERY easy to strip out the threaded insert and ruin the pull. So you have 3 chances to do this - tapping, tightening the insert, installing. I needed 42 pulls, so I ordered 2 bags of 25. I had precisely zero remaining when I was done. For some reason the second bag seemed to be of lower quality, and I stripped out 6 of them. Only 2 on the first bag. Finally, the mounting screws provided don't fit a standard cabinet door. The small screw only gives you about 1/8" to mount with, and the longer screws with notches are way too long. So get properly-sized 4mm screws beforehand, or be prepared to cut the longer screws, which is a pain.Once installed they look nice. I wouldn't say it's a huge step up from our standard round knobs, but it's something different, and you're pretty limited with options if you only have one mounting hole.
