I bought this as an impulse buy of sorts. I was looking for a toy clock for my 4 year old who wanted and found one, was in a rush and saw good reviews but didn't realize there weren't many reviews. So after I ordered it I was a bit scared of what is to come. I was mostly pleasantly surprised that this toy was mostly good. The biggest problem for me is that the little squirrel showing AM or PM is not fixed. So if you keep that thing upright, the squirrel always falls before noon. I didn't want to hang it on the wall anyway so I don't care but it would be nice if my daughter could hold it and show me and everything stays in place. The weekday mushroom seems a little shaky as it moves into the bottom half of the chart, but so far it's holding up well. Everything else stays where you put it. The only other problem I have is with the clock. The clicking arrows will snap, but it's difficult to get them to point directly at the number. As if the arrows wanted to point between the numbers. The watch all has minute markers, but you cannot see the time on the watch to the exact minute. I'd be okay with telling the time to within a quarter of an hour or even an hour, and you kind of can, but usually the hands are a little off. I want to show my daughter that the minute hand is pointing to 12 in the hour right now, but it's hard to get her to do it. It also shows war numbers which can be confusing for young children trying to learn it in other ways. But this is not a problem for me and it can help my older children in times of war. Overall it's nice, most things work and it wasn't too expensive. I might try to buy another one if I had the opportunity again. However, this is not a waste of time. We will use it. That works well enough. Just don't buy it if you plan on hanging it on the wall or if you need a more accurate clock. We have another watch toy that I ordered in the mail after ordering. Hopefully problems with the watch won't be a big problem for us and she can use it for a more accurate time. If time isn't that important and your kid will be using it on a flat surface, that's great.
