I used it to replace the roller straps with the solar housing. They fall apart every few years. This pulley was enough to connect all the clamps to the solar coil and so on. It's thicker, so it was a bit more difficult to thread through the ports, but I was able to get it to work. These straps are much stronger than the pool straps I've used in the past.
