My 63 lb American Staffordshire Terrier has a terrible time with sweaters. She is chunky and when you find one tht fits over her head and chest and belly if they stretch at all that is too much. After about four wears this sweater was so stretched out that the last time she wore it outside she was was laying down and when I called her to come in she jumped up and fell back down because it had stretched so much it was all bunched up around her legs like a shroud and she couldn't walk. She wasn't hurt, she is so close to the ground any way but needless to say she isn't wearing it anymore right now I am going to try to shrink it in the dryer as soon as I can pick all of the leaves out of it but the material is like velcro as far as leaves and small twigs go.
