I bought this stand as the only option for mounting a 55 inch TV which I won in my one bedroom apartment. small apartment, enter the PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand. It was exactly what I needed and when I ordered I didn't think it would work but for the price I thought what the heck. First, the quality of the materials was very good and durable. The instructions and diagrams were very clear, if you can assemble the IKEA furniture it will be easy. I recommend watching the installation video on the product page for a full picture and doing everything will be fine. My Specter 55" TV isn't too heavy for its size, but I was concerned that the stand would hold it and not tip it over. The tempered glass base helps keep the stand stable, and it looks thick and smooth, which I like also the cable holders on the back.This is a great solution if your TV is too wide to fit on a dresser or narrow width tabletop like ours.This has allowed me to place the TV on a dresser.
