I've wanted shoes for a long time that were a little dressier than my regular sneakers, but nothing special. Since I retired I don't dress much anymore, I mostly wear jeans or slacks. They fit the bill and were very reasonable for a leather shoe. They also work with casual skirts like jeans or denim. I ordered these shoes in navy blue. I have a lot of black, white and brown. Dark blue shoes are hard to find and when they are found they are either too elegant or ugly or not very comfortable. I think they're a bit like cheerleading shoes - not as heavy as athletic shoes (sneakers) so they look a bit more solid. They fit pretty well (I wear a 9B or medium) but they don't have any extra support - I suffer from plantar fasciitis so I might not be able to wear them all day for an outing, like walking. hard trading day. Otherwise I'm happy with them.
