Review on 💾 WD WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive: High-performance storage solution by Anthony Gupta

These are excellent hard drives. I'm a big Western Digital fan, so I'm biased. But for the price - this turntable is definitely a must have for the poor college student who just needs a few extra gigs for music/pictures. I installed this in my new Dell Inspiron 530 computer (which also has a WD 320GB Caviar drive as the C drive). I upgraded from an old 5400rpm IDE drive so all I can say is these things are insanely fast compared to my old computer. Yes, this drive isn't the quietest modern drive as I can hear it clicking and searching, but it doesn't seem to perform as well as some other drives I've seen. I also had no problems with the disk stopping for 5-10 seconds when I open Windows Explorer. That would be my only complaint about this disc. I recommend this drive to my IT friends and non-IT friends who don't need 1-2 terabytes of disk space.
