Yeah, i used it to cover up a large dent/scratch on the hood of my hybrid, fight me.But in all seriousness, It works as it should. It's a cosmetic add on. I can see the 3M tape may coming loose over time but i'll just reapply another. I did prep my work before applying this, i sealed the dent and hole and applied a primer and touch up paint underneath. I have no reason to replace the hood and didn't want to buy another one since it costs a lot so i sought out this $25 plastic.now my hybrid looks like it has a supercharged v8. sweet.
