I find using drywood mortar (EZSand) better than latex sealer for baseboards etc. These reusable tubes are great for this purpose. I also used for grouting tiles back in the day when it's a small grout job and I don't want grout all over the place (I used VA slate on the stove and the grout tubes helped a lot. One thing you MUST have, is compressed air and a rubber tip nozzle to blow the plunger out of the tube when you're done. Just 15-20 psi will blow out the plunger and send it 75 ft. Use a towel on the open end, NOT your hand, to wrap the plunger good to catch with cement mortar or mixes drywall clay.Can't speak of other material you could remove
