You will never use it, or maybe sometime.
A serious woodcarver would never use this stupid grinding method. They used a file and properly sharpened the blade. On the other hand, the home master can use it once or twice. Then they will understand that it is better to take a file and learn how to sharpen the blade the old-fashioned way. Okay, maybe some people like the PowerSharp system. I'm not one of those people and I've never met any of them.
