I decided to buy a new one, so many options on the market I tried the dual-band Belkin N750, the one for video streaming and range too is not good enough. The next try was Dlink N300+ (internal antenna), Dlink is a good guide when connecting to a computer. but the range is still not my favorite. My colleague recommended the DIR-655 and I bought it, it was mounted vertically to improve heat dissipation and increase range. IPv6 disabled on my computer for internet speed. If you want to try it, go to your LAN controller's properties and click on "Configure" and then on "Advanced" where you can enable or disable it. Find and disable these: Big Send Offload v2 (IPv6), TCP (IPv6), UDP (IPv6) and then test your network speed you feel. I felt like the download was getting faster and faster. (Update: February 2013) Give 3 stars because of two problems caused by the setting, firstly, you shouldn't mix security settings like WEP for the main wifi and WPA for the guest wifi, because the guest wifi doesn't appear or detection, by yourself when detected, it will soon disappear and lose connection. I think this is caused by a wireless mode conflict when using WEP which only allows G mode. Remember to set the same security setting for both (I currently have WPA for both). Secondly, as mentioned above, a mixed security configuration can lead to a loss of connection or the disappearance of the SSID of the guest WiFi network. In addition, the main wireless network disables all connections and cannot enter, except for the reserved ones assigned in the previous network setup screen. In conclusion, I would say that if you can set it up properly, it's good. I know you might get some anger and weird feelings, but this is how I might find out. One last thing, check "enable.bwtween zone" when configuring the guest wireless network to be able to toggle the wireless connection between the main and guest wireless networks, or you should disable a wireless network and try to connect to make with another. (Update: February 24, 2013) I brought this back because the router refused the wireless connection when I tried to connect to new laptops and new devices, but only devices with a reserved MAC address are fine. I wrote the reason for the return as defective but the seller charged me for the restocking which strikes me as odd. The seller needs to charge me a late return or other reason fee instead of a restocking fee because this item was returned defective. I wonder if this seller will check their inventory under new and returned items. My co-worker's router works fine, there have been no such problems for 2 years. I recommend buying TP-Link for the easier setup. Thank you for reading.
