These skins made me feel like I was doing a terrible job at first, but then I became clear they were skins, not me. They have three main problems that are not worth buying. 1) You don't keep ink in your lines. It will look like this until you wipe away the excess ink. The lines will look washed out and streaked no matter how you change up your tattoo technique. All of the leaked ink lands on the skin's surface, leading to problem 2.2. Excess ink is insanely difficult to remove from the skin's surface. I've tried petroleum jelly, green soap, ointment, soap and water, and even saliva, and they all have roughly the same results. Right after the first swipe, it will be a blurry mess. It takes a lot of friction for the surface to be clean enough to see the shading, causing the skin to tear if you tattoo at the right depth, causing a problem. 3.3) The skin is actually 1mm thick, not 1.5mm. I know because I broke the ruler after tearing one. For a tattoo, ink needs to be injected 1.5-2mm into the skin. If you tattoo that deep on those skins, you'll end up with cut-out pieces that you accidentally rip out when you wipe the crap off the surface with no help in washing the ink off. When stretching while tattooing, I've noticed that the skin becomes deformed/wavy and then the needle starts piercing the skin material and chipping off pieces. Moral of the story: don't buy them, find thicker, better quality ones and let me know. if you find a good one because I'm also looking right now - or I'll just switch to fruit and thighs until I run out of space XD
