I've been wearing Ecco shoes for years and love them, but they're really dangerous to walk on. In the photo the insole is exactly with the top of the rubber part. There is only 1-1/2 inches of real shoes on your foot. They're comfortable enough for home use, but they don't offer any grip on uneven pavement. Sprained my ankle twice wearing them and ended up throwing them away. They don't offer lateral support and it's easy to slide out of the shoe to your side (and no, they're not too wide. I'm talking arch to heel. I would avoid those.
