I'm giving 3 stars out of 5 because I think the product has changed. I don't believe it, I KNOW it. I've been giving this to my cat since I adopted her from the shelter (3 years ago). At first he loved her, he ran to it as soon as he heard the bag. Back then they had a higher Moisture Max on the back of the package with the ingredients list. They also had chicken as their first (main) ingredient. They used to be MUCH softer. They also had the best smell. They smelled of food, of Worcestershire sauce. Now days they are hard and dry. When I take them out to feed my cat, she literally runs away. I swear he runs away and hides behind a closet. Before, if he liked them, he would eat them himself. Now I have to break each one into 5 pieces and put them in my mouth. He chews and swallows. We do this 10 times a night. In most cases, it's more than that because he spits out each chunk once or twice. It's a real pain, you know what! From the sound of my review I should have given this product a rating below 3. That's where the 3 comes in, THEY REALLY WORK! Even if it hurts like hell, they work and are priceless for me. I like that my kitty doesn't get sick all the time. I am very thankful for this product. I was on vacation recently when I came back his eyes were watering, he had no energy and he was sneezing. Which just proves these treats work because he was fine before. It was about a week before they started working for him again. I'd say he has about 2 attacks a year when he takes them, which isn't bad at all considering he'd be nauseous every day without them.
