I run cross country all the time and I find this to be the best flexible shoe I have ever owned. It fits my feet [high arch but I think flat feet would work too] and gives you the best barefoot flex feel I've ever had. I still want something with a HARDER base for technical off-road [BAD FEET WILL BE HUNGER IN PROBLEM!] but in the snow, on mulch, this is best! If you have good footwork, you can easily walk SLOWLY on the pavement. also with the weight [weight vest] real minimalist shoes. was shocked by the quality!
