It was great until it broke. I wish I had bought four of these as they are expensive for something that doesn't last long. Within the first month of using the strawberry colored Glide-A-Scoop tub, one end of the tub broke internally. It can be seen that the plastic becomes very brittle when it is cold. Just a piece of plastic detached into one big piece. When this happened I was using a Tovolo shovel and I would like to add that their shovel is more pointed than regular shovels so this is more likely to happen with their shovel than a standard round shovel. My advice: if you buy one of these bowls, be very careful when scooping hard ice as the inner bowl is fragile and can probably break very easily. Also, use a standard round ice cream scoop to help with scraping, rather than a tovolo scoop. Apart from the fact that the plastic is too brittle, I really like the design of the tub. The long shape makes it easy to get a good ball in one hit and the ice seems to hold up well. They also fold well and fit well in the freezer. If the plastic was better it would have gotten five stars but as I doubt they will last I am very disappointed. I tried to contact the company but got no response.
