I chose this because my old dock failed while writing and I have a partially damaged drive. As a docking station with two USB 3 drives, it works perfectly. As far as cloning goes, it works exactly as advertised - a bit-for-bit identical copy of the original, including (as expected) all disk metadata such as UUID, partitioning, etc. I used this identical copy to try and recover it a damaged file system without risking the still working parts of the original. The corruption was beyond repair, but hey, I was still able to get all the working parts back without causing a system crash or further filesystem corruption. It always makes me nervous when a site doesn't list any guarantees or warranties, so I gave it a 4 rating. The big test would be how long it lasts. I generally think disk documents fall into two classes: failure within a year or the last three years. I will remind myself to update this review in a year.
