I changed the transparent Tagaderm dressing every day and used a "wound gel" that kept the wound moist and promoted healing. The Tagaderm dressings were easy to apply and apply as they have a pre-split frame around them so they can be applied without touching the dressing. They are transparent so you can easily see where to put them on the wound and see the condition of the wound. They're also flawless: they stick around the edges to seal the wound, but don't stick to the wound surface. I used them every day in the shower and not once did the Tagaderm dressing come off.
