These might work well for winter gloves but DO NOT buy these if you are going to be wearing them to a formal event. The leather is incredibly poor quality - "genuine" refers to a leather grade just above plywood - and literally fell apart in about five minutes. I even soaked them in hot water while wearing them to break them down, and at this point they're more like gardening gloves. I won't be returning them, but if you're looking for a pair of gloves to go with a suit or an outfit with a white or black tie, opt for the prettier ones in lambskin, with or without a lining. EDIT: About a week after I posted this, the knobs are VERY rusty and one is bent. I upgraded my rating to one star because I don't want you to get tetanus from them.
