First impressions of the gloves were excellent. The material feels good and they appear to be well made. The inside is lined with velvet and they keep my son's hands nice and warm. The problem is that they are not waterproof at all! We tested their ability to repel water from under a faucet and they failed miserably. The glove immediately got wet. We couldn't believe it. We also tested various brands of waterproof gloves bought for my older kids which passed the tap test with no problems. We will return them and buy another brand.
