Very easy to use. Keep in mind that there is a small window of opportunity to set the time, date and your weight so you should have an idea of what you are doing, but it's very easy to start over if you wait too long . Just hold down "Install" until you get a chance to change things and toggle between options. Very easy if you already have a digital clock set. They work for me and my wife no matter where we wear them. The necklace option is a little fiddly to set up, but it attaches anywhere and the clip is wide and easy. I clipped it to an inside coat pocket, a belt loop, and a shirt pocket, all with the same excellent stride count. I understand that people often use their Fitbit or other device to track their steps these days, and admittedly that's effective, but I'm not a fan of the Fitbit option. I like tracking a bit more old school, so I'm forced to think about it more and more. I might eventually join Fitbit, but for now my wife and I are having fun tracking steps and calorie intake separately. Some people have complained that the device doesn't track your first 10 steps. My wife and I love this option as it forces us to get up and move more instead of just walking between the couch and the fridge.
