Review on ACDelco OEM 88962315 Transfer Case Range Select Position Sensor for GM vehicles by Greg Sullivan

My burb wouldn't go into 4 bolt and found this after getting stuck. Then, accidentally on the track, the transfer case shifted itself into neutral. The gauges on the pushbutton selectors still said 2wd, but the engine just revved up until I shifted to another range. Switched to 2wd and everything was fine again. I've never had the "Service 4WD" light come on. When I first sat down I happened to notice that the knob selectors were in something other than 2WD, although I know I never chose 4hi or Auto. After installing this ring everything is fine. Easy switching to all areas. It also doesn't move anymore. 5 stars for ease of installation as it is a factory part so fits exactly as it should. However, it takes a bit of time and a torx bit. Be sure to watch a few YouTube videos before you buy. 5 stars for value because it's half the cost of the entire shift motor assembly. I appreciate that this ring is serviceable on its own and does not require the purchase of a new motor assembly.
