A tough striker but with a very high gloss chrome finish.
I prefer a nickel plated tool. Chrome seems too shiny. Too shiny. A nice thick nickel finish will do the job well. I had to slightly adjust the angle of the flint relative to the file by bending my arm because it tended to not follow the file and get stuck, but it works fine now. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, especially since it was cheaper than a weld shop or tool trolley and the quality is the same.
