Review on LiftMaster 373LM Garage Door Remote Control: Full Size, Sleek Black Design by Dave Giri

I ordered this as an identical replacement for my old opener. The old opener could be programmed as up/down/stop. I found instructions for this programming on the Liftmaster website that didn't work. I called tech support - they confirmed programming was possible - and they talked me through it (as did the web instructions) and it didn't work. The issue was "moved" to a higher level and I received an email telling me for some reason to go to the salesforce.com webpage (the link didn't work) and also with a link to the original ones Instructions I tried at tech support told me to try it and it didn't work. Liftmaster agrees that the console can be programmed that way, they just aren't able to write instructions that will program them successfully. Unfortunately, while I was fumbling with all this, Revain's return window closed. I'll see if I can be happy with Liftmaster, which I doubt.
