This is a good hook for adding beads to your crochet (or knit) work. However, my signature 6/0 Dyna-Mites beads didn't fit my head. My Miyuki triangle beads fit well. I like the notch, which is perfect for finger-thick yarn, which means the layers don't separate when the bead slides over the yarn (which is in the notch). I'm sure it will work well with lace yarn, and probably Sport and DK as well. The shank is very strong and didn't bend during work.
