Useful for a laptop but lacks stability for eating or drinking
UPDATE: Don't buy flimsy mounts. slowly falls to the side when I put my hands on my laptop. (see photo) ------ I got one to work from home on a futon. it works well for that. Not much on a mattress. One downside is that the legs don't lock, which reduces horizontal stability. I wouldn't recommend using it for eating or drinking, especially if stability is an issue. (I'm sorry I didn't order the older cup model)
