These pans are exactly what I was looking for. Nice stainless steel, good weight, good lids. I used to use cast iron pans, but as I got older they became too heavy. That's a good middle ground. They're heavy, cook fairly evenly, and are fairly easy to clean. As with any stainless steel skillet, you must use some type of oil or fat or your food will stick. I've cooked bacon and eggs in this pan and when the pan cooled down I just added some warm water to the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then I took Dawn dish soap and a brush and cleaned the pot. Most cooked food fell off immediately. I ended up using the magic sponge on the few remaining spots. I am in love with her. They represent excellent value for money. I definitely recommend them.
