These are beautiful plates and I have used them many times. Despite being plastic, they don't look cheap. I like to use them as serving plates for cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. when serving food outside or bringing food to a friend's house. I don't have to worry about them being brittle, cracking or breaking. They are strong but light and very beautiful. Keep in mind that they are only marked 'top shelf' which means they really should NOT be dishwasher safe as a full size plate usually won't fit on the top shelf. Conveniently, they should be hand washed. But they are easy to clean by hand, especially since they are lightweight. And they are worth it.
