The color of the key ring peels off immediately. I put it in my keys right away and when it happened then, although nothing special, all I wanted was black tire valve caps. But one of the caps was already torn off and didn't fit. I went ahead and bought a few from the dealer and the key fob was still listed for a couple of weeks when the AMG badge fell off and I threw the key fob away. 2 stars because I'm pretty sure it was just an accident and might try the caps first before using the chain so you can return it if it snaps.
