Review on Cushions Pillows Seating Reading Meditation by Jen Schuelke

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice pillow, soft and quite big but quite thin and too light.

This is an attractive, well-made floor cushion that is very versatile. Cover - soft, velvety material. I ordered Aqua, it's a light subtle shade that's really pretty. It's quite large at 20 x 20 inches. It's 3 inches thick and the tufting gives it a soft feel, but the filling is soft and light, making the pillow easy to compress. It doesn't seem particularly supportive for an adult, but I think it's sturdy enough for kids that I imagine they'd be happy to have it sit or lie on the floor while playing games or watching TV. I don't think it will withstand strong rough cases. It also does a good job of adding a nice boost of comfort to a horrible worn out old chair that my husband doesn't want to get rid of. I'm recovering from a long illness + surgery and I'm still quite weak. I love that I can easily take this pillow with me and take it anywhere I need it without assistance; I used it for the large metal rocking chair we have on our patio. So far I couldn't stand it for more than a few minutes but now I can sit and read a book or watch the birds while enjoying the sun. even seams and no protruding or elongated threads. The little button-like tabs keep the buns secure, at least for now. At the current price of $29.90, I find this pad a bit pricey considering it's fairly thin and best for light use. If I had seen it in a store I would have bought it more if it was heavier and stronger or if it was about 20% less.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
