I bought these for my Mavic Pro. The engineering has solid scientific basis. In that, RC antennas are omni-directional--they radiate the signal 360 degrees, meaning the radio waves are projecting from the back, as well as the front and sides, and going through your body. So unless you like piloting your drone facing backwards, the signal should be projecting out the front of the RC toward the aircraft. The parabolic reflectors focus the energy forward while the Yagis focus the signal into an even tighter angle, so theoretically they should be the best of both worlds. I did a range test doing identical flights at the same location. Without the extenders I got 1600' away before the RC started losing connection (I was in a location with a lot of trees), with them I got to 2000'. The only glitch was the back of the extenders hit the sticks while flying, but a slight change in the antenna angle fixed that. One of the cheapest ways to get flight improvement for your drone.
