Review on ROKR Wooden Educational Engineering Model - Self Assembly for Fun & Learning by Nathan Tank

PROS: Good project Easy to understand instructions Fun to build Good quality Assembly time took hours (time well spent) CONS: Doesn't work to meet deadlines (doesn't work for more than a minute, needs to be pressed to start it again; although we leveled and waxed the parts as directed) parts. See image with handles pointing to two parts) good quality overall but the video as instructed lacked any other detail or information than the commercial type of video (although no video was needed/required). Overall the project was fun, the time with my son was interesting and the build was fun. We were very disappointed that the clock didn't run at all to keep time (not even 1 minute). We tried adjusting the weight of the pendulum, aligning the clock (necessary for proper operation) and lubricating the point with the one provided.
