This great lamp is durable, easy to assemble and even easier to use. It charges my MagSafe phone which is in a MagSafe case with no issues. I was specifically looking for an articulated desk lamp that is tall and dimmable - I didn't bother with all the extra features of this lamp, it's just the only tall, dimmable one I could find and the style and price, that I was looking for. . Why is it almost perfect? He doesn't turn around. I believe one of the images shows a 5° rotation, which is wrong. As you assemble the lamp and tighten the one shade you need to tighten, you will find that once it is tight enough to prevent the arm from swinging, it is also too tight to allow the arm to rotate. If you loosen the screw, the lamp is still stable, but the bracket wobbles and still only rotates minimally. I've searched a ton so I know this is the best option for me. The lack of a swivel is really annoying but not enough to make me return it and accept another lamp that didn't meet my requirements but was a swivel. If you want maximum adjustability, this may not be the best option for you. Otherwise a great lamp.
