Worked for my needs
MY chairs were a little wider in the front and narrower in the back. We removed the seat panel and attached the covers to the underside of the seat. If you have animals I would recommend doing it this way. Cats have not tried using it as a scratching post and it seems thick enough to prevent them from cutting through it.
