Blast from the past! I loved mine when I was a kid! I got this as a stocking stuffer for my 5 year old. I figured she would enjoy making different outfits. She's really enjoyed it and gone through all the paper already. I need to cut more. I love that it all stores within the case. The case is easy to transport, so it's great for restaurants and travel.

My 6 year old got this in her Easter basket and absolutely loves it! Fun gift like what I used to have when I was that age! gifr!

Very strong, toxic smell. Immediately upon opening, I took a closer look and the smell hurt my sinuses, gave me a headache within seconds. The plates themselves work well and it’s a great toy, but I don’t know what this is made out, it’s an extremely potent chemical of some sort. We had to leave the entire set outside for two days to air out and still it has a strong smell. It’s made in China so who knows what they used.

Arrived on time, and they were good and sturdy and had everything as advertised. My daughter liked and they worked great.

This is a steal! Bought this for $4 and it is one regular sized fashion tray with several plates, crayons and paper. The plus to the travel version is that the tray top locks into place, which works very well for my 4-year-old who has some trouble keeping the paper in place with the deluxe version that her older sister owns. This is perfect as a starter set for a younger child and an excellent addition if you already own another fashion plates set.

Was a gift for my granddaughters who are 8 and 9yrs. they loved them. Perfect for travel in the car. Very compact. Also keeps them very busy.

My daughter got these as a gift and we have gifted them too. She enjoyed putting plates together and making sheets to color. You will need a sturdy surface, so maybe not ideal for a car.

My 5 year old loves this (and so do I!), but my only issue so far is that the lid is very tough for her to snap the latch closed, so I need to help her with it. This is our first Fashion Plates set, and I think it's super cool that you can mix & match the pieces with other Fashion Plates sets should we decide to expand and get a larger set. My kids love doing fashion plates, and to get the travel ones at a "deal of the day" price makes me one happy mama! So happy that I bought 3 and can't wait to give the other 2 out as gifts. The clip is a little tough to open and close, but I prefer that over being too loose and not staying shut. Overall very happy and good quality.

Just like I remembered. I got these as gifts and everyone enjoyed them. I forgot they come with their own "special" paper. Not sure what I'll do when we use it up. Cut up sheets? Just stick a big page in?

Gifted to my neighbor's daughter. She and my niece played with it for an hour and had a lot of fun. Minimal adult assistance was required. They are ages 5 and 7. Love that all the pieces fit together for taking it in the car, the park (while big brother does soccer) or travel. Recommend!

I couldn't believe the price - dropped down to $4! so I grabbed it for our recent plane ride. This version does not come with a carrying case (but that's OK for the price) and I do wish there was a spot to hold the paper - but the rest of the items, plates/crayons, all fit nicely for transporting. The clip to hold it all down is incredibly strong/hard - that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I felt I was going to break it when I first opened the toy - and my 6 year old still cant open it…

It works but it is made very cheaply. The snap that holds it closed has already turned white from the two times we opened it. I can tell itwill break off. It is very difficult to snap closed, my 7 year old had to get my help both times. Not as good as the one I had asakid that had a storage drawer. Just very flimsy. If it was better made it would be awesome.

Adorable little set but flimsy. The black crayon attached to plastic piece that you use to rub breaks very easily and there is no place to store the paper of the crayons. Cute to use a couple of times.

I purchased this for an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. It is the perfect size and was a great price. A young girl somewhere in the world will love it!

I got it for my daughter, it's perfect for a gift! She loves it! I loved it too as a child! Keeps your mind on the creative side, I got her an art book too so she can start designing 🖌️🎨👩‍🎨

This one's crap. They don't tell you you cannot use the other expansions with it because the tablet is "travel sized". What does that even matter?!?! It's one plate too small for the other plates and there's no mention of it on the box, instructions, amazon, or their own website. Don't buy this one.

I played with this when I was a kid in school. Now that I my kids can play with it and it is portable.its even more amazing! The product does not promote diversity in body shapes or skin tones.
