Ladies - damn you buy it. The coverage is PERFECT. It's a long top and more like what they call a "midkini". This means it covers the curve where the bra line is which is perfect! The neckline is higher but not too much and the ruffle is feminine but not ridiculous. I buy more just for the top. As for the bottoms, they weren't as tall as some of my heights, but I have a really long torso. While they didn't cut me off (otherwise they weren't so tight that they bulged), but they weren't stunning either. They also leave a bit of sass underneath, but many find that sexy. So the bottom was so-so, but for the top I would buy it a thousand times over. I took size XL for fit, I'm 5'5, 190, wear a size 12 and usually larger.
