I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I love this item. I currently have a turtle that projects stars onto the ceiling in three colors to choose from and doesn't move. This is definitely a step forward. This product is smaller than you think. I was expecting it to be the size of a basketball, but it's actually the size of a softball. It has three buttons, one button is like a light/medium/off button. The second button selects the colors and the third button rotates them. Very cool, my 1 year old daughter loves it. It has solar system coverage, simple coverage, and star and moon coverage. It has blue, red, green, purple and white I think. It's hard to say, it's amazing. Actually, this is not a toy for babies. There was no screw in the battery door to hold the battery door in place, so luckily I was able to remove the screw from the bottom of the toy and insert it into the battery door for security. This toy seems fragile even for babies, the lids are made of brittle plastic and removing the lid would expose the LEDs and circuitry. So while it would be great for a child's room, it's not great for babies to have access to either. This toy comes with a USB port, but the instruction manual says you can also plug it into a USB outlet. No USB to 110 adapter is included. So if you want it to plug into the wall, you'll have to sacrifice part of the phone charger or just buy it separately.
