Great. Definitely eliminates the chloramine taste in tap water. I just cut a 1/4" polypropylene tube in half and stuck the ends into the filter, no brass parts to fiddle with would have to. Make sure you plug in the inlet side first and run 5 gallons of water through it into a bucket to flush the free carbon out of the filter, then plug in the other end that goes to the fridge. I have an old Whirlpool refrigerator with a $30 filter cartridge. which was accessible from the bottom of the front panel. The cartridge holder cracked and started to leak, so I circumvented that and installed it behind the fridge. It's now much cheaper to replace the filter and actually easier.
