Review on FORCE 4941-5 automotive tool set, 94 pcs. by Wiktor ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

The biggest disadvantage - for 7 years of very intensive operation (I am engaged in the repair and maintenance of cars for myself and friends), I managed to believe in the absolute indestructibility of this tool, and foolishly began to break the set items where it was necessary either to cut off with a grinder or beat with a shock pneumatic tools with a burner. :) Objectively - the tool was not to blame at all. - I definitely recommend it - I twisted a lot of things in cars, the set went through fire, water, and old cars, where sometimes it sticks so that it’s no worse than a weld . It unscrews. Vorotok repeatedly withstood bullying with unscrewing to the cold soured hub nuts with an extension in the form of a meter-long water pipe. For those who complain that they are rusting, I can recommend using children's plastic sets - they do not corrode. :) You need to follow the instrument, gentlemen. Once a year, I spend a couple of hours washing and cleaning the entire set, followed by coating with liquid anticorrosive. Yes, it rusts all the same, but not so intensively, and it doesn’t work worse from this. May I recommend? Without a doubt - yes (provided, of course, that FORCE has not fallen in quality over the years, which, alas, is very common). With the addition of a 1/4" flexible shaft and FORS's set of open-end wrenches (I bought it later), the auto mechanic's arsenal becomes practically a reference.

Pros
  • - Excellent steel quality. - Thick indestructible case with secure hinges and perpetual locks.
Cons
  • - The pad on the handle of a large ratchet twists and sometimes moves out (started after a couple of years of use). We are talking about a "pre-styling" set, with a plastic one-color handle - now, it seems, they began to do it with a rubberized one, I won't say about it.
