The material on it is nowhere near the same as the standard PS4 controller, it feels and looks distinctly different. It's a darker black, the PS4 is grayer in comparison and it's shinier, more reflective and shiny, while the standard versions are matte. They feel comfortable and offer a good grip, but you should replace both grips at the same time to adjust them. However, it does its job well and at a price you can't complain about!
