Can't comment on the packaging yet, but the build quality of this case is everything I could have hoped for in a case: slightly soft, grippy sides and a hard back. This makes it easy to put the bag in and out of your pocket. In addition, the softer sides allow for better shock absorption. It came packaged with instructions, although not required, I appreciate the extra effort. Great case for the money and even comes with a small phone holder! Update: Received my 13 today and it fits perfectly. No regret!
