Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Cryorig M9A AMD Tower CPU Cooler with Jet Fin Acceleration System - Silver/Black - Compact Size for Optimal Performance by Paul Dobson

Works great, quiet, would buy again for future builds.

Used this temporarily while my Corsair H55 was being repaired. Honestly I'm impressed, for a CPU that doesn't get very hot my A8-5600k stayed pretty cool at a constant 48-50C under load and steep 34s idle. It's also relatively quiet, but after a month of use it got a bit noisy under load, I haven't tested it, but if the fan comes with a refill hole/cap I can use some machine oil (sewing machine oil works great!) to to relubricate the fan and reduce noise while increasing efficiency! It comes with a tube of thermal paste if you need it but I went with my Tube Noctua NH1 to be honest the installation was very easy it only took a bracket and a few screws the only tricky part was the fan Secured properly with the rubber grommets except installation was easy. It also comes with an extra fan mount, so if you want to add a second one, you can. One thing I would really like would be an additional cover in white, the black one that comes with it is nice but if you have a white themed build it can stick out, luckily it's removable and thanks to that I was able to spray paint. Top comes in matte white and has a nice clean aesthetic while I patiently awaited the return of my liquid cooler. The M9a will definitely do the cooling work.

Pros
  • Fans and Cooling
Cons
  • No Insurance
