Cools great and is MUCH quieter than a standard AMD machine.

Great budget air cooler. I bought it because I couldn't stand the crazy fan noise from my wife's desktop anymore. It had a stock AMD cooler and the thermal paste was starting to dry out, but the fan was terribly loud. So loud I'd swear if that thing woke up. I wanted to find a relatively inexpensive air cooler that was quiet and cooled well enough to allow for moderate overclocking if I was going down that route. Cryorig is relatively easy to install, although the instructions are a bit sparse.

Pros
  • CPU fan
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Goodbye stock cooler. Hello overclocking. It comes with blissful silence and a hefty tube of pretty good thermal paste. Keeps my moderately overclocked Ryzen 1300X (3.9GHz, 1.35V) under load for an extended period of time under 60 degrees. Calm. Installation can be a bit of a hassle if you don't like messing around with small items. It's a worthy competitor to the Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212 as it stands up to the direct comparison. While technically it has less mass and surface area, it's…

Amazingly efficient, flexible and quiet. Highly recommended.

Just received this so can't comment on longevity but will update the review if anything changes. It has greatly improved my system so far. It's hot in my house, I should say that first, but I've had some serious overheating issues. I was idling at around 40 - 50C. Light gaming easily got me to 55 - 65C. Heavy gaming 60 - 80C and the computer would shut down. The system and the CPU cooler were quite old. As a result, I had to keep the case open and cleaning every few days. I was a bit unsure…

Works great, quiet, would buy again for future builds.

Used this temporarily while my Corsair H55 was being repaired. Honestly I'm impressed, for a CPU that doesn't get very hot my A8-5600k stayed pretty cool at a constant 48-50C under load and steep 34s idle. It's also relatively quiet, but after a month of use it got a bit noisy under load, I haven't tested it, but if the fan comes with a refill hole/cap I can use some machine oil (sewing machine oil works great!) to to relubricate the fan and reduce noise while increasing efficiency! It comes…

Pros
  • Fans and Cooling
Cons
  • No Insurance

The best! Internal Components

This is the best compact air cooler! As far as I know, there is no better 90mm cooler in this price range. It replaced the stock FX 8320 cooler used on the Phenom II 965 BE (C3, 125W version). Older Phenom II quadcopters are notorious for their high temperatures and low thermal ceilings, so this thing packs quite a punch. Temperatures are much cooler and this cooler is virtually silent. The chassis and GPU fans drown it out even under gaming loads. Now it idles at around 30-32 degrees Celsius…
