Review on 🌿 Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil: Purified Squalane Moisturizer for Fine Lines, Wrinkles & Radiance - 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) by Renee Davis

PRICE AND AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS: At the time of writing, there are third party retailers that list this product at a price of £17 with standard shipping. I decided to order it from Revain at 11:50pm. I'm not saying all third party sellers here are scammers but this price discrepancy really bothered me as PTR is a top brand that you won't find in pharmacies and the list price on PTR website and Nordstrom website is 38 (All prices are valid for October 2016). There are a few reviewers who have stated that they smell rubber tires and I suspect they bought them from a third party. I would have played it safe and bought from Revain. As for the actual review: It's just amazing! I avoid personal care products that contain ingredients I can't pronounce and lab-made chemicals/preservatives. I've tried the oil cleansing method with a few different oils and used a face oil (from Badger) as a moisturizer. It worked great for a while, but then I started breaking out and had no idea why. When I first started using this PTR Squalane it was like a revelation! Goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, no breakouts. This is not a traditional oil. The best way I can try to describe it is that it looks like an oil ingredient. In the warmer/humid months I only use 3-4 drops once in the morning and once in the evening. However, in drier/colder climates you may need an additional moisturizer. I recommend Shea Olein, which I apply a very, very small amount to my cheeks and massage in gently (I have an oily T-zone, so only my cheeks need a small amount in dry climates). No breakouts so far and my skin is smooth and plump - no toners or scrubs required! Face and ointment soaps, some of them are listed on Revain, I think I've actually heard of them from squalane - they have squalane eye/face cream but unfortunately I've reacted to the lavender essential oil which is there, so is PTR 100% Squalane.
