I saw the installation in a YouTube video and decided to give it a try! Camper fridges are not known for doing their job well. They're reliable, but they don't cool down quickly, and things really have to go well for them to work as planned. One of the biggest improvements you can make is to increase the airflow behind the fridge so hot air is pulled out faster. It has its own thermostat so it only turns on when needed. It's amazingly quiet. But best of all, it makes the fridge work very effectively! Installation can be tricky if you don't like working on the roof of an RV, but it took about 1.5 hours overall. Huge, huge difference! When we change campers, that's one of the first things I do, even if the camper is new, unless it has a 12 volt fridge.
