Review on UL Listed USA Power Adapter for Asus Laptop Charger: Extra Long Notebook Power Cord ADP-45BW ADP-65JH BB EXA0703YH by Dianna Carr

My frugal son found an old Q302L in the garbage. The battery was dead so I bought a universal charger to test it. The laptop worked great! It hasn't turned on since January 2019, meaning the previous owner's PSU had died and they didn't want to pay ASUS $90 for a new one. (I completely erased the hard drive for this; no personal data was stored by the previous owner). After reading very bad reviews about ASUS style replacement AC chargers, we settled on this charger, which is sold by an American company with a 2-year warranty. The Q302 uses a 4mm plug and really charges its laptop faster than a generic one. He really likes the long cord as it allows him to easily do COVID homeschooling while sitting comfortably on his bed. The build quality is good and doesn't look cheap. There is a light blue LED on the transformer, but it does not interfere. It does NOT get hot as his laptop draws 45W at most, it just gets a little warm. By the way, Q302L with i3 works fast enough after full cleaning and reinstallation of Win10 --> Windows Update --> Driver Booster --> Ccleaner even cleans an old spinning disk. [This is free with an upgraded extra 8GB of RAM from his friend.] Now he has a great school laptop for the price of that $20 PSU!
