Review on ACDelco 504 157 Original Equipment Passenger by Byron Lucas

Replaced the driver's side on my '08 Lucerne Super last year, this time the passenger side. This is the electronic version with a port on top of the shock and an air intake on the side if you're interested. Absolutely the best ride ever and turns without bouncing is amazing. The service manual says that the shock should be replaced if there is excessive oil leakage around the shock and that a small leak is okay, so I didn't replace them in pairs. Also, they are a little expensive to replace a perfectly good shock absorber. In my case, the riders had oil seeping into the bottom of the shock. The passenger side was easy to diagnose as there was a lot of oil dripping on it. on the bottom of the shock and the traction control light started flashing. Still not bad for stock shocks with 150,000 miles on them. Great product and I'm looking for another 150,000 smooth ride.
