Our little 4 year old loves this top. Just to be on the safe side, I'd give what I did to her a 5-6. I know moms just want to toss something in the washing machine, but I suggest using a mild soap in cold water when washing, gentle cycle (or hand wash, or one of those mesh laundry bags you use to wash) or lint. dry. If your little one has a stain, pre-treat as usual, depending on the stain of course. Good value for money :)
