Having bought several reading glasses from local stores I was disappointed with their quality. While I appreciated the lightness of the plastic lenses, they scratched too easily and were difficult to keep clean. I wanted quality glass so I ordered them and was not disappointed. The frames are very strong and allow you to remove the glasses with one hand as you can flip the hinges back. The glass is thick without distortion. Sometimes they slip off my nose, but that's an easy fix, as anyone who wears glasses knows. I would definitely buy them again.
