I first ordered this microneedling pen a month ago, used it, and decided to wait for the results (if any) before posting a review. After monitoring my skins progress, I have to say I'm pretty happy and impressed with the results. I have deep, pitted scarring on my face that is a result of struggling with dermatillomania. I went to a derm who told me my only option was laser treatments. I decided to do my own research and found that microneedling was my best shot. I have noticed over the past month that my scars have become more shallow and less pitted and it was only my first use. I would highly recommend this pen to anyone who experiences similar issues or if you even just want to diminish fine lines and improve overall skin texture and appearance. When I first used the pen, I thought it was defective. I got in contact with customer service who answered me very quickly and were very nice and informative. This pen also comes with a two year warranty that you register when you receive the product, in case it does break. In case you do order this device and happen to read this review, make sure you do your research. I found a lady on YouTube who does really great videos called penn.smith.skincare. My first time using the pen, I used the 36 needle cartridge and felt pretty much nothing and didnt see the cartridge moving up and down so that's why i thought it was defective. If you use your phone camera and look at the pen while it's on, you can see it moving. Also, upon further research, I discovered the 12 pin cartridge will penetrate deeper because of having less needles and the second time i used the pen (last night) I used the 12 pin definitely felt the needles. It wasn't super painful but everyone has different pain tolerances and conditions. Use your best judgment. Also, i saw a few reviews saying that this pen scratches up skin. It definitely can and will do that if you don't use any kind of hyaluronic acid for slip on the skin. You have to be very liberal with applying the HA throughout needling yourself. Again, everyone should do their own research but I thought sharing my experience could help someone if they're not sure they wanna take a risk on this.
